This evening at 5 p.m. the
city of Lincoln will celebrate the grand opening of
Central Bark, the city's new dog park. The grand opening
will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.
followed by free supper of grilled hot dogs, chips and
drink courtesy of the city.
The dog park is located on the south east corner of the
eight street city park. For those who wish to attend,
the best way to get there is to take Walnut north from
Fifth Street, or Eighth Street west from Union.
This is a long awaited achievement by the city of
Lincoln and those involved in bringing it to reality
hope the community will turn out this evening and enjoy
the first evening at the new park.
