Paint the Paper Pink

Cha-Dai Pet Motel

Country Aire Restaurant

The Paint the Paper Pink, Pink Shirt photos for today feature the lovely ladies at Cha-Dai Pet Motel and the staff of Country Aire Restaurant in Atlanta.

This is a fine group of people who care immensely about the customers they serve.

Caring about people is one of the primary drivers behind the Paint the Paper Pink campaign and also the American Cancer Society. The ACS offers a wide variety of services for cancer warriors of all types. Among them is an online support group that offers breast cancer warriors a place to speak freely without adding to the emotional burden of loved ones.

While it is vitally important to have an “in-person” support system while fighting cancer, there are times when the cancer warrior feels that the burden is too large for friends and loved ones. That is when a support system like the “Reach to Recovery” for breast cancer warriors specifically can be very helpful.

To learn more about utilizing the system visit this webpage -
ACS Reach To Recovery | Program Overview (cancer.org).

You can volunteer to be a sounding board for other warriors, visit this web page - Reach To Recovery | American Cancer Society.

It is with great sadness that we report today that Lincoln Christian University announced on Wednesday that it will close permanently at the end of the 2023-24 academic year.

The University has been a vital part of our community for many years.

It has been announced that the Ozark Christian College will assume the seminary studies, will retain the name Lincoln Seminary, but will be moving the operations to Joplin Missouri in 2024.

LCU has touched many lives and today we shed tears for its loss and send up prayers for the staff and students.

In today’s edition find formal statements from LCU President Silas McCormick and OCC President Matt Proctor.
