Alaina Bradburn hoists
not one but two trophies above her head at the Jason
Bradburn Memorial Demolition Derby at the Logan County
Fairgrounds on Saturday night.
The Saturday night event was a make-up event for the
rained-out demolition derby at the 2023 Logan County
Fair. The event included a moment of silence for the
late Jason Bradburn, Alaina’s father, who passed away
suddenly in June of this year.
To include her dad in the derby, Alaina drove Jason’s
last car in the full-size open wire feature. She won the
feature, and also won the “Maddog” trophy in the same
event. Saturday night she proudly showed off the two
trophies to fellow drivers and infield fans at the
derby.

Over 66 Softball Turf Challenge tournament on Saturday, August 26,
2023.
The team went 3-0 in the tournament, defeating Decatur Montessori
16-1, getting past Athens 11-7 and finally taking care of Tri-City
14-4 to claim the championship.
