Within the
foreseeable future, these three structures on South
Chicago Street in Lincoln will cease to be eyesores.
The properties are currently owned by the city and
were offered for sale via sealed bid. This week
aldermen heard that one bid had been received. After
reviewing the bid pack with Zoning Officer Wes Woodhall, alderman agreed to place the acceptance of
the bid on the agenda for the February 5th voting
session.

NOTICE TO
LOCAL ELECTION JUDGES
The
refresher course, scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd has been
rescheduled for Thursday, January 25th at 5:30 p.m. at the
Knights of Columbus.
This refresher course is not mandatory; however, the
information will be helpful. The certification training will
take place later this year. Additional information will be
mailed out concerning the certification training. If you are
unable to attend the refresher course, the course will be
available online at a later date. For all judges interested
in the online option, please contact our office at
217-732-4148 or
