Atlanta is quickly becoming the
Land of the Giants in Logan County. Over the weekend
the American Giants Museum celebrated its official
grand opening. A unique ribbon cut was hosted by the
Atlanta Betterment Fund and featured Bill Thomas on
a ladder giving a quick introductory speech. Next,
Joel Baker with American Giants ascended the ladder
and snipped a ribbon that was tied to Snerd’s leg
and the post of the Texaco sign on the property.
A new arrival was also celebrated as the giant
Texaco man was a bit late to the party but managed
to be standing tall before the weekend was out.
