							As a
community we need to be able to talk openly about
matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get
your point across is to stick to the issue
and refrain from commenting on another person's
opinion. Letters that deviate from focusing on the
issue may be rejected or edited and marked as such.

            | To the editor: Thank you to
the Logan County officials and personnel responsible for the
lighting of the Logan County Courthouse during the holiday season.
The red and green lighting of the Courthouse was beautiful. Lincoln
city officials and the Lincoln Small Business group also added to
the festive feel with the lighting along the rooftops around
			Downtown Lincoln.
The current nonseasonal lighting of the Courthouse is just as
impressive. With all the work that has gone into the dome and other
repairs and updates, highlighting this beautiful building is showing
			pride in Lincoln.

 Thank you,
 Linda Leslie
