Notice of Public Hearing, Logan County
RE: State of Illinois Paratransit Vehicle Grant for Logan County
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Logan County

Location: Logan County Board Office, first floor, 601 Broadway Street, Lincoln, IL 62656
For the purpose of considering a project for which financial assistance is being sought from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), pursuant to IDOT’s general authority to make such grants, and which is generally described as follows:
A. Description of project: This project will provide three replacement Medium Duty 14 passenger paratransit vehicles to be used in the provision of non-urban public transportation in Logan County. The vehicles are projected to cost $390,000.
B. This project will be included in a Consolidated Vehicle Procurement (CVP) Program undertaken by the State of Illinois on behalf of Logan County with federal funds.
C. Relocation – Relocation Assistance will not be required.
D. Environment – This project is being implemented to minimize environmental impact.
E. Comprehensive Planning – This project is in conformance with comprehensive transportation planning in the area.
F. Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities – All new equipment included in this project will meet ADA-accessibility requirements for seniors and individuals with disabilities.
At the hearing, Logan County will afford an opportunity for interested persons or agencies to be heard with respect to the social, economic, and environmental aspects of the project. Interested persons may submit verbally or in writing, evidence and recommendations with respect to said project. To join the hearing remotely, please follow the directions below:

A copy of the application for the proposed project will be made available for public inspection at the Logan County Board Office, 601 Broadway Street, Lincoln, IL 62656
Please call the Logan County Board Office at 217-732-6400 at least a week prior to the scheduled public hearing if special accommodations are needed for the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

ON Chestnut Street Light District BUDGET

Notice is hereby given that a tentative Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Chestnut Street Light District, in the County of Logan, State of Illinois, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, will be on file and conveniently available for public
inspection at Aetna Township Building, 209 W South St., Chestnut, IL from 8:00 A.M., August
11th, 2026.

Notice is further hereby given that a public hearing on said Budget and Appropriation
Ordinance will be held at 5:00 P.M., Tuesday September 15th, 2026 at the Aetna Township
Building and, that final action on this ordinance will be taken at the meeting to directly
follow the hearing.
