Trash Band, and Good News perform
Throughout the day, there was entertainment being offered on stage. From the Lincoln
Christian Church, the Trash Band and Good News performed for the audience.
The Trash band is made up of youth from the church playing unusual instruments created from
items many folks would consider trash, thus the name. The band is well known in the Logan
County Area for its rhythmic stylings.
The Good News Choir, under the direction of Lauren Hill has just returned from a southwestern
tour where they performed this year’s concert “Unashamed” in locations in Kansas, Colorado,
Texas, Missouri and Illinois.
