Elsas competes in the
9 and 10 age group for boys. He competed in three individual events
plus one relay. He placed 13th in the 50 free with a time of 32.52,
which was a personal best. In the 50 fly he placed 22nd with a time
of 37.25, and in the 100 fly he placed 24th with a time of 1:26.33.
He swam in the 200-meter free relay for Team Illinois, which placed
fifth with a national top 16 time of 2:11.88. Brennan scored 60
points to help with Team Illinois' second-place finish.
