Discounted Farm Progress Show tickets on sale now     Send a link to a friend

[AUG. 13, 2003]  To save dollars and time at the ticket gate, show and concert tickets may be purchased now for the upcoming Farm Progress Show and its country music concerts scheduled for Sept. 23-25 near Henning.

Brad Paisley, one of the hottest stars on today's country charts, and Montgomery Gentry, CMA's 2000 Country Duo of the Year, hit the specially built Morton Stage at the Farm Progress Show outdoor concert site Sept. 23 and 24 respectively. Tickets are $10 each in advance or $12 at the gate. Concerts are general admission, open-air, with lawn seating. Advance ticket purchase is recommended.

Farm Progress Show tickets for adults are $5 each in advance, $7 at the gate, for each show day. Show tickets for ages 13-17 are $3. Youngsters ages 12 and under are admitted free. Concert tickets are sold separately.

Advance tickets are available from Big R Stores, First National Bank of Danville and by calling toll-free (866) 279-7469.

The show and concert site is located three miles north of Henning, or approximately 15 miles north of Danville. Parking is free. The show exhibit field will be open to visitors from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The concerts begin at 5 p.m. on the adjacent concert site. The public is welcome.
