Mildred Wilmert
Mildred Marie Wilmert, 83, of Lincoln
died Saturday (May 10, 2003) at 5:18 a.m. at her home.
Her
funeral was Tuesday morning at St. John United Church of Christ in
Lincoln, with the Rev.
Richard Reinwald officiating. Visitation was Monday evening at the
church.
Burial was in New Union Cemetery,
Lincoln.
Holland and Barry Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Wilmert was a homemaker for her
family.
She was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Atlanta
to Adolph L. and Katherine C. Wilmert Pech. She married Wilbur J.
Wilmert on May 1, 1941, in Lincoln.
She is survived by her husband; one
son, W. James (and wife Leslie) Wilmert of Lincoln; one daughter,
Kaye E. Wilmert of Lincoln; four grandchildren, David Wilmert of
Lincoln, Darin (and wife Jody) Wilmert of San Diego, Calif., Melissa
Wilmert of Bloomington and Meredith Wilmert of Lincoln; one brother,
Raymond G. Pech of Lincoln; and one sister, Helen B. Opperman of
Lincoln.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and one brother, Harold C. Pech.
She was a member of St. John United
Church of Christ, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, AARP
and Oasis. She was a Pink Shutter volunteer and also delivered Meals
on Wheels.

Donald Jockisch
Donald Jockisch, 67,
of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Middletown and Mason City, died
Thursday (May 8, 2003) at his home.
Visitation will be
from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home, 603 E. Chestnut in
Mason City. Masonic rites will follow at 8 p.m.
The funeral service
will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hurley Funeral Home, with the Rev.
John Bornar officiating.
Burial will be in
Easton Cemetery
Mr. Jockisch was a
retired farmer.
He was a U.S. Army
veteran.
He was born April 16,
1936, to Paul L. and Beulah F. Van Etten Jockisch. He married Nancy
E. Bruce. She survives.
Other survivors are
one son, D. James Jockisch Jr. of Middletown; two daughters, Janice
R. Jockisch of Middletown and Jennifer (and Chris) Brummett of
Byhalia, Miss.; one granddaughter, Courtney Brummett; four brothers,
Paul R. Jockisch of Easton, Wesley D. Jockisch of Pekin, Ronald G.
Jockisch of Fancy Prairie and L. Roy Jockisch of Manito; and one
sister, Alice F. (and Edward) Green of Springfield.
He was preceded in
death by his parents and one sister, Mary Louise Jockisch.
He was a member of
the New Lebanon Baptist Church in Kilbourne, Masonic Lodge 403 in
Mason City, Scottish Rite Valley of Springfield and the Ansar Shrine
Temple in Springfield.

Doris Forehand
Doris Maxine Forehand, 81, of
Broadwell died Saturday (May 10, 2003) at 7:51 p.m. at her home.
Her funeral was Tuesday morning at Holland and Barry
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Johnathan Rose officiating. Visitation
was Monday evening at the funeral home.
Burial was in New Union
Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mrs. Forehand retired after 25
years of employment in the dietary department at Lincoln
Developmental Center.
She was born March 8, 1922, to
Harry and Mabel Kline Baughman. She married Warren Nevil Davis on
Jan. 20, 1941 in Palmyra, Mo. He died April 7, 1965. She married
Paul Forehand on Sept. 29, 1967, in Lincoln, and he died Feb. 25,
1995.
Survivors are three sons,
Warren H. Davis, David L. Davis and Dennis E. Davis, all of Lincoln;
10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lloyd
Baughman of East Peoria and Keith Baughman of Lincoln; and four
sisters, Hazel Werth of Lincoln, June Phegley of Peoria, Ruth Yegout
of Omaha, Neb., and Edith of Bettendorf, Iowa.
She was a member of the
Broadwell Christian Church.
