Jaycees Haunted House open     Send a link to a friend

[OCT. 17, 2003]  The annual haunted house sponsored by the Jaycees opened Thursday evening at the Logan County Fairgrounds. It is a new house every year, so people who went before will have a different experience. This year's spooky adventure features a maze in the final part in total darkness.

The haunted house is one of the main fund-raisers for the Jaycees. They start working on ideas in January or February. In the end it takes about two weeks to set up.

Proceeds go to community projects including the Angel Tree and a Thanksgiving meal the Jaycees sponsor for seniors. Over $3,000 was raised last year.

The haunted house will be open till Nov. 1. Hours are 7 to 10 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Admission is $3.
