[APRIL 5, 2005]  JACKSONVILLE -- Lincoln College scored seven times in the final two innings to hand Illinois College an 11-5 setback in baseball action here Monday afternoon. The victory runs the Lincoln record to 8-10 for the season. The Lynx are at home Thursday against Lincoln Christian College and will host Danville in a doubleheader Saturday and a single game on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.

Nick Meredith led the Lincoln College attack with three hits, four RBIs and one run scored. Tyler Casson had a pair of hits with a pair of RBIs and scored one run. Collecting one hit each for the Lynx were Adam York, Brad Hall, Bryant Wright, Brian Rynearson and Jarad Otloe. Hall and Otloe each scored a pair of runs and had one RBI each.

Rick Kidwell pitched the first six innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out four and walking two. Rich Ennis picked up the win with one inning of work, allowing one run with two walks and a strikeout. Ryan Driskill pitched the final two innings, allowing three hits and one run with one strikeout.
