BLOOMINGTON --
Representatives of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the
Bloomington Cultural District plan to announce two new developments.
The official announcements will be made March 3 at 1 p.m. on the
stage of the Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts, 110 E.
Mulberry St.

Maestra Karen Lynn Deal of the Illinois
Symphony will join the honorable John Freese, president of board of
governors of the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, and John Wohlwend,
board chair of the Bloomington/Normal Symphony, to announce a new
home for the symphony's Bloomington-Normal seasons.
Cultural district capital campaign
co-chair Henry Bird will then announce the receipt of a major gift
toward the renovation of the 83-year-old Bloomington Center for the
Performing Arts.
