Illinois Symphony Orchestra children's concert -- 'Aesop's Fables'       Send a link to a friend

[MARCH 2, 2005]  NORMAL -- The Illinois Symphony Orchestra, with Karen Lynne Deal, music director and conductor, will perform a children's concert entitled "Aesop's Fables" on March 12 at Kingsley Junior High in Normal. The concert will begin at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $3 for children and $5 for adults and can be purchased by calling (309) 820-1650.

This concert is made possible through concert sponsors Fox & Hound, Bloomington-Normal Symphony Guild and the Centrillo Girl Scout Council. The orchestra also recognizes the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois for being a community ticket sponsor.

The Illinois Symphony Orchestra performs not only in Bloomington-Normal but also in Springfield, drawing musicians from across Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri and Wisconsin. The orchestra is supported in part by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
