Salvation Army opens Tuesday Bible studies
[MARCH 5, 2005] On Tuesdays during March, The Salvation Army will have Bible studies examining "Parables From the Ol’ Fishing Hole" ("Andy Griffith Show") in light of the Bible. Sessions will be at 307 N. Kickapoo on March 8, 15, 22 and 29 at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited and refreshments will be served. Letter of faith in God as healer

[MARCH 5, 2005] My beloved 17-year-old daughter had a malignant tennis ball-sized brain tumor removed in late 2001. All the experts and labs, including the "guy who wrote the book" on glioblastomas, said it was 100 percent hopeless. She had no chance. Even if they removed half of her brain, there would be no chance she would live more than a few months. Ashley Rene' Jones is now 21, a dean's list college student of radiology and is perfectly healthy. When the entire world says NO HOPE, we still have the true source of healing: GOD. And we know how to reach Him: PRAYER. I have learned the hard way that:
To all the parents across the nation with children struck with catastrophic illness: Pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. Seek with all your heart and believe. Never listen to "hopeless."
