INDIANAPOLIS --
The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship Selection
Committee announced Sunday that the University of Illinois will be
heading to Indianapolis for the first and second rounds of the
championship tournament.

On behalf of the entire city and
especially the local organizing committee for the NCAA first and
second rounds, the Indianapolis Convention & Visitors Association
congratulates the Fighting Illini and their coaches, parents,
alumni, students and fans. The excitement is about to begin in
Indianapolis for this No. 1 seed!
When: March 17 and 19
