LINCOLN -- Lucille F. Wise, 88, formerly of Lawndale, died Wednesday, May 18, 2005, at 12:05 a.m. at the Christian Nursing Home.

Her funeral was Saturday morning at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, with Tom Gerdts officiating. Visitation was on Friday at the funeral home.

Burial is in New Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Wise was a file clerk for 15 years at Country Companies in Bloomington.

She was born Oct. 29, 1916, at Havana to Lyman and Minnie Pearl Bullock Botkin. She married Orville H. Wise on May 17, 1936, in Lincoln. He died June 6, 1991.

She is survived by one son, Lyman Wise of Lawndale; one daughter, Sharon (and Larry) Krueger of Lincoln; four grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Elizabeth Turner of Lincoln.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Marjorie Lowman.                            

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Memorials may be made to the Retinitis Pigmentosa Foundation or to Lou Gehrig's disease research.

CHESTNUT -- Elizabeth A. Kiliman, 94, of Chestnut, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005, at 10:25 p.m. at Vonderlieth Living Center in Mount Pulaski.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski, with the Rev. David Bueltmann and the Rev. Donald Kirchner officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kiliman farmed with her husband at Chestnut.

She was born May 1, 1911, at Cantrall to Wilhelm and Augusta Wapneski Fedora. She married Emil Kiliman on Sept. 19, 1942. He died April 28, 1971.

She is survived by one son, David (and Susan) Kiliman of Springfield; two grandsons, Bryant and Daymon Kiliman of Springfield; and one sister, Margaret McCormick of LaJolla, Calif.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and an infant son.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Chestnut and the Home Bureau.

Memorials may be made to her church or to Chestnut Ambulance.
