Pink purse theft leads to bad checks at Wal-Marts

[OCT. 12, 2005]  The Lincoln Police Department is asking for assistance in solving the theft of a hot-pink purse that happened at the Lincoln Wal-Mart, 1501 Woodlawn Road. The incident occurred between 5 and 5:37 p.m. on Aug. 7. An unknown person used checks at the Pekin Wal-Mart on Aug. 13 and 27 and at the Wal-Mart in Normal on Aug. 13.
