Lincoln College softball vs. ICC          Send a link to a friend

[APRIL 10, 2006]  The Lincoln College softball team lost to Illinois Central Community College 8-0 and 6-4 in home games on Sunday.

"The first game we gave up too many runs early and could not muster any hits to get us back in the game," said Lincoln coach John Andrews. "After the first inning, Aletha (Cunningham) settled down and threw a pretty good game."

"The second game we battled back after giving up three runs early. Abby Segal threw a great game, striking out 12 in going the distance.

"ICC is one of the top teams in the state and ranked nationally. The girls realize that they can play with the best if they play up to their potential."
