To the editor: LDC. It's good to see that LDC may be put to good
use. This nation's vets deserve and should get only the best care
around. [Related
article.]
LDC, after being all but shut down, it will take a great deal of
money and time to get ready for anyone to really use. The state may
dump money into LDC; now the city of Lincoln should make some real
investments into LDC as well. Giving money to a billion-dollar
business like Wal-Mart was one thing; putting money into LDC will be
a whole lot sweeter, and far better in the long run. Reopening LDC
will be the best and smartest thing Lincoln will do for itself.
