[AUG. 1, 2006]  ELKHART -- Margaret M. Miller, 87, of Elkhart died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2006, at 2:45 a.m. at St. Clara's Manor in Lincoln.

Her funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Shaw officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln and at the church on Saturday one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lincoln.

Mrs. Miller was a bookkeeper for Midwest Co-op for 20 years.

She was born Aug. 8, 1918, in Effingham to George T. and Anna Martineau Arnold. She married Frank X. Miller on Aug. 5, 1940, in Effingham. He died May 16, 1965.

She is survived by her children, Dr. Frank (and Mariann) Miller of Havre, Mont., Sister Marlene Miller, O.S.B., of Rock Island, Marguerite (and Lee) Svenson of Decatur and Michael (and Susan) Miller of Elkhart; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Arnold.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She graduated from Effingham High School in 1936.

Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Church or the activity fund at St. Clara's Manor.
