Lincoln students share area eighth-grade spelling bee title          Send a link to a friend

[JAN. 13, 2006]  SPRINGFIELD -- Raeann Sheley and Kathryn Opperman, students at Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln, were eighth-grade champions in the recent spelling bee at Lutheran High School.

Participating in the bee with students from other Lutheran schools in central Illinois were Billy Campbell and Kelsey Wendlandt, seventh grade; Morgan Conrady and Amber Johnson, sixth grade; Karli Cox and Grace Sheley, fifth grade; Kathryn Arneaud and Austin Leonard, fourth grade; and Jim Sielaff and Josh Mangano, third grade.
