Controversial issues:

matters that affect the quality of our lives. The
most effective and least offensive manner to get

Dear Editor: Last month you published a
letter from us concerning the Jif Most Creative Peanut Butter
Sandwich Contest. We are writing to give your readers an update and
to thank them for their votes.
Julie's sandwich, the Texas Roll 'Em Up, is now one of five
finalists. She has made it to the final round! We truly appreciate
each and every vote Julie's sandwich received. We're going to NYC!!!
All the sandwiches are very good. We have tough competition ahead
of us. The other sandwiches going are Peanut Butter Rolls -- Sushi
Style, Rocking Rainbow PB&J, Caramel Apple Turtle Treat and Peanutti
Panini. I will let you know when we get back who is the grand prize
winner of a $25,000 college scholarship. The four runners-up will
each receive a $2,500 college scholarship. Final round in NYC is
March 22.

Thank you a million times over for your votes; we truly
appreciate each one! You who voted for Julie's sandwich helped us go
on in this contest; thank you, thank you. And I do hope that you
parents out there will consider entering this contest (look for it
around August 2007 at www.jif.com).
This has been such a wonderful time and experience for me and
Julie. The grand prize would be like the cherry on top of an already
perfectly splendid mother-daughter time spent together.
Sincerely,
Terry and Julie Dosher
Channahon
