[October 23, 2007]  Nicole Buse, daughter of Lynn and Tammy Buse of Hartsburg, is this year's recipient of the Robert and Rosemary Graham Steinfort Scholarship at Lincoln College.

The $1,000 scholarship is awarded annually to a student who has graduated from an area high school and achieves a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average at Lincoln College.

Buse is a 2006 Hartsburg-Emden High School graduate. She is taking liberal arts courses at Lincoln College, with an emphasis in classes in business administration. She has achieved academic success and was listed on the fall 2006 Special Honors List and the spring 2007 President's List. She is active with the Lincoln College softball team.

The endowed scholarship is named after Mount Pulaski Products founders Robert Steinfort and his wife, Rosemary. Former Lincoln College trustee Scott Steinfort and his wife, Kay, initiated the award in honor of his parents.
