How did the governor get elected?

To the editor:

I read with interest the article written by one of your staff on the governor's troubles.

I would like to know how he got elected in the first place. I could tell by his little beaded eyes that he was not one you could to put trust in when he was running for the office. Voting for him once should have been enough to see through his crookedness. But to vote for him the second time was just not smart. Maybe the governor paid for the office??

I did not vote for him either time because, well, maybe I'm psychic or I have exceptional intuition. I seemed to know that nothing good would come through his governorship. And turns out I was right.

May he sit in prison alongside the other crooked governor and all those politicians who chose to fill their pockets rather than run a clean government the honest way.

Oh, and I am not afraid to give my name.
