Girl Scout Troop 1101 from Hartsburg -Emden visited the office of the Humane Society of Logan County on May 19, bearing special gifts. The girls used money they made selling cookies to buy cat food, litter, toys, brushes, a scratching post and paper for the Humane Society. Pictured left to right are Ashley Lessen, Alyssa Bridge, Erin Lessen, Brooklyn Swinford, Ashley Zinser, Ryann Rohlfs, Rachel Gabbrants and Madison Shawgo. The girls were taken on their shopping spree by leader Sarah Lessen, leader Danita Gabbrants and volunteer Betty Jo Lessen. The society thanks these young ladies for their hard work and generosity. If you or your organization wants to help the society, go to www.hslclincoln.org or call 217-737-4042 for details.
