Reminders: Culver's, Gee Family Fund, old soldier monument poll

[October 12, 2009]  Culver's at 2530 Woodlawn Road in Lincoln is hosting a fundraiser from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday for the local Scout troop. The troop is gathering funds for the 2010 Scouts of America's jamboree. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of the store's sales between 4 and 8 p.m. to the Scouts.

Also, on Saturday, Culver's will donate 25 percent of all sales throughout the day to the Gee Family Fund. (Details)

Don't forget to have your voice heard on the old soldier monument choice. All you have to do is e-mail [e-mail] and type in stone or bronze as your choice for material to be used in the replacement of the lost monument. (Click here for related article.)
