Accidents

Several hit-and-runs reported

  • 200 block of South Sangamon
    Kristopher L. Wayman reported on July 21 that his 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser was parked in a lot off the alley in the 200 block of South Sangamon. When he went to get into his vehicle, he noticed that it had been damaged by an unknown driver.

  • Willard Avenue
    Fred G. Fulk reported that on July 23 at approximately 8 p.m. he parked his vehicle at his residence. The next morning at approximately 5:30 when he went to the vehicle, he noted damage to the rear passenger-side taillight and quarter panel.

  • West Feldman Drive
    Dr. Frank Adubato reported that at some point during the night of July 23, the sign in front of his chiropractic office on Feldman Drive was struck by an unknown vehicle and sustained damage. The police report indicated that an unknown driver had turned off North Union Street onto Feldman, left the road on the left-hand side, drove into a ditch, struck the sign, continued in the grass, then returned to the roadway, still heading west and proceeded on.

Incident on Keokuk

Accident occurred at 4:24 p.m. on July 24 in the westbound lanes of Keokuk near North Kankakee Street

  • McGrew, Tristan J., 28-year-old male of Havana; 2007 Pontiac Grand Prix

  • Kodatt, Jason R., 27-year-old male of Lincoln; 1997 Chevrolet 4x2 pickup

Police report indicated that McGrew was traveling west in the left-hand lane of Keokuk with Kodatt running parallel in the right-hand lane. McGrew was attempting to turn from the left-hand lane into a private driveway on the right, didn’t see the vehicle beside him and struck it.

Lincoln Police Department reports for Monday, July 26

  • Bateman, Brandon W., 21-year-old male, of Lincoln, arrested July 25 at Logan and Keokuk on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear on charge of criminal trespass. Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent.

  • Eldridge, Justin R., 27-year-old male, of Lincoln, arrested July 26 in the 1200 block of North State Street on Class C charge of disorderly conduct and breach of the peace.

Logan County Sheriff’s Department reports for Monday, July 26

  • Geary, Tawnya R., 27-year-old female, of Lincoln, arrested July 23 on a Logan County warrant for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $10,000, 10 percent.

  • Lindsay, Catharine A., 21-year-old female, of Bloomington, arrested July 25 in the Atlanta area on Class A charge of driving with a license suspended. Bond was set at $1,000, 10 percent.

Mount Pulaski Police Department reports for Monday, July 26
