One of the first signs of spring happens in our schoolyards. Yesterday Central School students took to the swings to shake off some of their winter energy. Forecasts show seasonable weather and temps for the first few weeks of March.

It's official.
Sen. Bill Brady has been declared the Republican nominee for governor by the State Board of Elections.
The official canvass by the board showed Brady with a 193-vote plurality over Sen. Kirk Dillard.
