Mary Shattuck and Chuck Fricke were in council chambers Monday evening to receive a proclamation from the Lincoln City Council naming Saturday as "Bob Shattuck Day" in Lincoln. Mary Shattuck, Bob’s wife, said he is currently a resident at the Total Health Institute in Wheaton, where he will be for six weeks. She said it’s hard right now because for the first two weeks she’s not permitted to visit him.

This special, holistic approach to treatment is something that the family’s health insurance will not pay for, making the upcoming fundraiser very important.
