Cremation rites have been accorded.
Interment will be in Cumberland Sugar Creek
Cemetery at Glen Arm.
Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of
arrangements.
She was born May 9, 1951, in Springfield. Her
parents were Robert and Joella Harlan Strode.
She is survived by her two sons, Steven Ray
Martin of Athens and Darrell Lee Martin of
Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Kathy Beam and Alice
Heisinnger, both of Springfield; and two brothers,
Robert Strode of DuQuoin and Gene Strode of Girard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one
sister, Jane Lynn Strode.
She was of the Christian faith
She graduated from Pawnee High School in 1968.
The family would like to thank the staff at Maple
Ridge Care Centre in Lincoln for their loving care
for Susie.
