Cheeseheads at city council. Alderman Tom O'Donohue (left) and Mayor Keith Snyder wore their cheesehead hats at the opening of the city council meeting.

At last week’s workshop session of the Lincoln City Council, the two Packer fans vowed that if their team won, they would appear at the Monday night meeting as cheeseheads. True to their word, both donned their hats at the beginning of the meeting. Snyder also sported a Green Bay necktie, which Alderman David Wilmert surmised was grounds for dismissal in some workplaces. Snyder replied, “Well then, so be it.”
