LC women's basketball results

[December 03, 2012]  The Lincoln College women's basketball team suffered back-to-back losses this weekend in the Hampton Inn Classic at the Lincoln Center.

Sauk Valley handed the Lady Lynx the loss on Friday night, winning 75-65. Jessica Miller (Sandwich) led the Lynx with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Denitra Mack (Rockford) chipped in with 12 points. Erica Spiller (Chicago) pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds off the bench, and Cassidy Jennings (Bartonville) dished out seven assists.

On Saturday, Carl Sandburg took down the Lady Lynx 65-38, holding the Lynx to just 18 percent from the field. Denitra Mack led Lincoln with eight points, and Edraniel Tookes (Lincoln) grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Lady Lynx drop to 5-5 on the season.

They will be in action again on Monday at Illinois College in Jacksonville.
