DETAILS: Year-round electronics recycling on the second Saturday of each month. Accepting working and non-working items including COMPUTER EQUIPMENT such as laptop and desktop personal computers, hard drives, monitors, keyboards, printers, scanners, CD-ROM/DVD/ZIP/tape drives, cords and cables; ENTERTAINMENT EQUIPMENT such as TVs, radios, stereo and game systems, game controls, VCR & DVD players, and cameras; SMALL BUSINESS EQUIPMENT such as phones, copiers, pagers, typewriters, fax machines and calculators. Also accepting SMALL HOUSEHOLD/COUNTERTOP APPLIANCES and aluminum, copper, brass and stainless steel items. Breast cancer support group meeting

DETAILS: An informal meeting where veteran survivors can share encouragement with each other, those more recently diagnosed, plus family members and caretakers.

Scrapbook night
SPONSOR: Woven Together, Jefferson Street Christian Church
WHO: Scrapbookers and crafters
DETAILS: Join us for a night of fun and fellowship as we make scrapbook pages for the Woven Together Ministry. These pages are combined to make books for children in the foster system. We desire to bring hope to the hopeless. Bring your creativity, a friend and a snack to share. Donations according to whether you work on Woven Together pages or your own projects. All proceeds go to the Woven Together Ministry Fund, which supports fostering and adopting families in our community.

Spring for Tea
SPONSOR: Harvest of Talents for World Hunger, Lincoln Christian Church
WHO: Open to women from this and other communities
DETAILS: Spring for Tea is a premier Logan County spring event. Tea and a variety of sweet and savory delicacies are served from tables tastefully appointed with silver, china and crystal. A perfect event for a ladies' day out. Hats are encouraged but not required. Limited seating. Tickets go on sale Feb. 1 at the office of Lincoln Christian Church during regular office hours. 3rd Saturday Community Meal
SPONSOR: Logan County Love
WHO: Open to the public
DETAILS: Menu: pork chops, garlic roasted potatoes, corn, green beans, pudding parfait with cookie. Free. Donations are accepted but not necessary. Food donations go to local food pantries. Carryouts and Lincoln deliveries accepted. For delivery, call 217-671-3339.
