Thursday evening Darrell Knauer was named the Casimir Pulaski Distinguished Citizen for this year and Marilyn Tanner-Blasiar was recognized with the Casmir Pulaski Distinguished Alumni Award at a reception and dinner in their honor. The event at the Mount Pulaski American Legion was also a fundraiser for the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation. The foundation has been formed to help secure funding that will keep the courthouse in good repair for future generations.
