Monday evening, the Lincoln aldermen and mayor performed one of their favorite tasks of the year. In each ward, aldermen representing the ward selected a person, and in one case this year, an entire family, to be honored as someone who gives their very best to the community. Mayor Keith Snyder also selects one person as his choice. This year's winners were Steve Allen, Linda Franz, the Mourning family, Bob Huelskoetter and Nila Smith.  LDN will have further information about the recipients in the Wednesday edition of LDN.
