The Mount Pulaski Lady Toppers opened regional play Tuesday night with a victory over the Delavan Panthers. The Lady Toppers downed the Panthers 25-11 and 25-11. Maddy Davis and Whitney Nichols led the attack with 11 kills each. This win gives coach Donna Dulle 999 career wins. The stage is now set for Dulle to go for win 1,000 against coach Jennifer Hayes and the Hartsburg-Emden Stags. Game time is 6 p.m. Thursday at the Illini Central gym in Mason City.
