On
Monday evening, in two votes, the Lincoln City
Council accepted the resignation of Marty Neitzel as
Ward 4 Alderman and also accepted the appointment of
Rick Hoefle as the newest Ward 4 Alderman. With
Neitzel resigning from her ward, her role with the
city will be to serve solely as Mayor. As such she
may no longer vote on city issues, with the
exception of when her vote is required as mayor in
the event of a tie vote. Hoefle will fill out the
current aldermanic term that expires on April 30th,
2017.
