							The 
							Lincoln Lakes Polar Plunge is coming up this 
							weekend. Attendees are asked to please, if possible 
							park vehicles at the Knights of Columbus and take 
							advantage of the shuttle, as parking is limited at 
							the lake. Parking will be made available at the lake 
							for persons with disabilities. 
 The day, according to Joanie Keys of Special 
							Olympics Illinois Central Area 10 is shaping up to 
							be a really wonderful event. Among the special 
							speakers at the plunge this year will be Lincoln 
							Mayor Marty Neitzel and Lincoln College President 
							Dr. David Gerlach.
 
 Opening ceremonies at the lake will begin at 11:45 
							a.m. with the plunge starting at noon.
 
 After the plunge there will be a party at the 
							Knights of Columbus with food and lots of great 
							prizes including a 40' Samsung Smart TV (for college 
							students, high school and elementary), Fit Bit 
							Fitness Package, a Handyman gift package and a Grill 
							Masters Dream Package.
