On
Thursday morning well over 100 people
gathered at the new city of Lincoln/ALMH
Fitness Court for the Grand Opening
ribbon cut and launch party. The group
included many city officials, staff,
administration, and board members from
ALMH, Lincoln College students and
Administration, a large number of
volunteer trainer/mentors, Logan County
Fair Queen Molly Schempp, Little Miss
Logan County Kylee Fulk, Illinois
representative Tim Butler and a large
number of people on hand anxious to be
among the first to use the new outdoor
exercise facility. After the ribbon cut
a Fitness Challenge took place, then the
courts were opened to all. Healthy
refreshments including fruit and bottled
water were given out along with
tee-shirts to the first 100 guests, and
souvenir sunglasses.
