At
the opening ceremony of the 2018 Relay
for Life in Lincoln on Saturday, the
event started with a ribbon-cutting
ceremony. This year's honorary Chairs
Amy Weidhuner (standing center in
purple) and little Jolene Fellers
(standing in front of Amy) did the
honors with assistance from this year’s
Chairperson Cyra Buttell (standing to
the left). To Buttell's left are Lincoln
Alderman Rick Hoefle and Mayor Seth
Goodman, who came to attend the ribbon
cut and congratulate the Relay for Life
of Logan County for another successful
year. In the background are other
survivors as well as several team
members. The ribbon cut was led by the
LDN Ribbon Cut Crew with Karen Hargis
and Roy Logan holding the ribbon.
