STATE BANK WEST

To start out this last week of Paint the Paper Pink pictures we're dropping it back down to six shots because all six of these photos represent one great group of people in our community, the staff of the various State Bank of Lincoln branches in Lincoln and also in Clinton.

State Bank of Lincoln has deep roots in our community. Many in these photos are friends, family, neighbors, people that we know.

This is a good opportunity to point out that breast cancer does NOT happen to other people. It is in our community, it happens to our friends, family and neighbors. While we are wrapping up this month of breast cancer awareness, please remember, breast cancer happens on its own schedule. Be aware of your body and go for those check-ups and mammograms.

On Saturday morning a large number of children, all decked out in their Halloween costumes joined Lincoln Mayor Seth Goodman on the steps of the Logan County Courthouse for a group photo. The picture was taken at the end of a morning parade around the downtown area where local businesses and organizations filled the bags and baskets of young trick or treaters with sweet treats.
