LDN -- Top Stories

NOTICE

Due to weather forecast for tonight (Friday, January 18, 2019) the Lincoln Boys Basketball Game vs Morton at LCHS will have an early start.

The sophomore game will begin at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity game at 6:30 p.m.

Thursday was yet another odd weather day. The snow that was predicted arrived in many areas, but we avoided the ice that was to come after. By midday on Thursday temperatures were a bit warmer and the fog moved in.

If the forecasts hold true, today is the calm before the storm as another wave of snow, this time with relatively high winds, moves into the county and sticks around through most of the day on Saturday.

FROM THE LOGAN COUNTY EMA

Logan County is expecting another Winter Snow Storm to push through the area Friday night into Saturday.  The current predication is that we could see 4-6 inches of snow with the possibility of higher amounts.  The main concern with this system will be the wind.  Winds are expected to increase to 20 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.  Expect drifting and blowing snow and the possibility of whiteout conditions.  This will make travel difficult so we ask the citizens to stay off the roads. Stay Safe!!
Thank you
