In
about half a day, the first tiny home for a Logan County
veteran in Lincoln went from a bunch of wood to a house.
Dozens of volunteers showed up on Saturday morning to
help with the build under the guidance of team leaders
from 2 X 4's of Hope.

By Sunday evening, The house was a home with
siding, windows, and a lovely stone facade on
the front porch. Work on the home's interior
will continue through this week, with a
ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by 2X4's of Hope
planned for Sunday, August 1st. |

not investigate nursing home deaths in New York, two other
states -letter
The
U.S. Justice Department has decided not to open a civil
rights investigation into nursing homes in New York,
Pennsylvania and Michigan regarding their COVID-19 response,
dealing a blow to several Republican lawmakers who had
demanded a probe.
