‘The
Spirit of the Season’
[NOV.
30, 2000] Join
your friends and family downtown this evening for this wonderful,
festive holiday event. You can stop in at the Oasis and buy a chili
supper that will help keep you warm to the toes before stepping out
to watch your favorite people in marching bands, on floats, in
vehicles and on foot.
A
large lineup is in the works, with almost 90 entries. It is expected
to reach from the high school to Kickapoo Street.
Parade
lines up on Wyatt Avenue, hangs a right at Kickapoo Street, moving
past the movie theater, taking another right on Pulaski to go around
the courthouse, left on McLean Street, left on Broadway; right onto
Kickapoo again, finishing up at the Moose Lodge.
