trip will be program
topic for Jolly Seniors
[AUG.
25, 2001] The
Jolly Seniors group from Lincoln Christian Church invites people
55-plus to attend the group’s monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28,
at 10 a.m. at the church Fellowship Center, 205 N. Hamilton St. This
month's program will feature Evelyn Taylor’s trip to Alaska.
David
Andreasen, minister at Faith Assembly of God, will lead the
devotion, and special music will be provided by Dick and Carole
Hurley.
The
group will also enjoy a dinner prepared by Edith Slack. Suggested
cost for the meal is $4.

Young
adult class hosts
retro ’80s night
[AUG.
18, 2001] On
Saturday, Aug. 25, the Open Door class at Lincoln Christian Church
is hosting a retro ’80s night in the Fellowship Center from
7-10. The evening will include an ’80s costume contest, DJ,
’80s trivia, memorabilia, band and more. The event is open to
the community.
