Dudley
Porter Cooper, 84, of Lincoln, formerly of Berryville, Ark., died at
3:15 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital.
Cooper
was cremated. Burial of cremains will be at a later date in Mount
Carmel Cemetery, El Paso, Texas.
There
is no visitation.
Arrangements
are being handled by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Cooper
was a retired U.S. postal worker.
He
was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He
was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Hammond to Paul and Mary Ethel Dudley
Cooper. He married Severina Maria Rodriguez. She died in 1989.
Surviving
are two sons, Robert (and Marsha) Cooper of Lincoln and Raymond
Cooper of Northbrook; three grandchildren; three
great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Clark of Lincoln, formerly
of Berryville, Ark.
Memorials
may be made to the donor’s choice.
