            Willis Roeder A memorial service 
            for Willis L. Roeder will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Lincoln 
            Eagles Lodge 2708, 1621 N. Kickapoo St. in Lincoln. A luncheon at 
            the lodge will immediately follow the service. Roeder, 70, died July 
            29, 2002, at 5:30 p.m. at his home in Lakeland, Fla. He was a custodian at 
            Lincoln Community High School before he retired. He was a U.S. Army 
            veteran of the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He was born Sept. 2, 
            1931, in Cressona, Pa., to John and Mary Kramer Roeder. He married 
            Shirley L. Brown on Dec. 11, 1954, in Mount Vernon. Survivors are his 
            wife, of Lakeland, Fla.; one daughter, Brenda Booth of Dana; three 
            sons, Willis Roeder Jr. of Morton, Donald Roeder of Morton and Terry 
            Roeder of Lincoln; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two 
            sisters, Mary Fox of Summit Station, Pa., and Shirley Umbenhauer of 
            Schuylkill Haven, Pa.; and one brother, John Roeder of Schuylkill 
            Haven, Pa. He was preceded in 
            death by two brothers and one sister. He was a member of 
            American Legion Post 263, Eagles Lodge 2708 and Moose Lodge 1441. Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd 
            Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823-3229 or to the 
            building fund for American Legion Post 263.

            Lucy 
            Reves 
            Lucy G. Reves, 87, of Lincoln died at 
            2:45 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2002, at Maple Ridge Care Centre. 
            Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. 
            Friday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln. 
            Her funeral, with the Rev. Darrell 
            Garrett officiating, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at 
            Fricke-Calvert-Schrader. 
            Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, 
            Lincoln. 
            Mrs. Reves had been a sitter for Mrs. 
            Nugent at St. Clara’s 
            Manor and a waitress at the Cracker Box and Hart’s 
            Barbecue in Lincoln. 
             
            She was born Aug. 20, 1915, in Tuckerman, Ark., to Louis and Daisy 
            Moore Adams. She married Dimcy Reves in Arkansas on Nov. 6, 1933. He 
            died July 19, 1961. 
            Surviving are two sons, James "Larry" (and Kim) Reves of LaMont and 
            Dennis (and Jessie) Reves of Lincoln; four daughters, Eunice Piper 
            of Carrollton, Martha Kirk of Wichita Falls, Texas, Bonnie (and Ed) 
            Vanover of Lincoln and Carol Reves of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; 21 
            great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lois Payne and Lilly Lowery, 
            both of Newport, Ark. 
            She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy; one daughter, 
            Evelyn; four brothers; and two sisters. 
            Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s
