Edna Hamilton
Edna Hamilton, 91, of
Lincoln died at 2:50 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, 2002, at Abraham
Lincoln Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be
from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Holland and Barry Funeral Home of
Lincoln.
Her funeral will be at
11 a.m. Tuesday at Holland and Barry. The Rev. Gil Gandenberger will
officiate and John Borst will offer a prayer.
Burial will be in New
Union Cemetery, Lincoln.
Mrs. Hamilton was
employed for 25 years at Row Motors as a bookkeeper and secretary.
She retired in 1996. She had also worked a number of years at
Stetson’s China.
She was born Feb. 6,
1911, at Winchester, rural Scott County, to George W. and Ida
Mitchell Crabtree.
Surviving are one
daughter, Betty Griffin of Lincoln; four grandchildren, Audra (and
husband Brian) Turley of Lincoln, Kim (and José) Ralat of Havana,
Kristi (and Stan) Chew of Havana and Marc (and Dena) Hamilton of
Springfield; five great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by one son, Robert Hamilton, and one brother, Ray Crabtree.
She was of the Protestant faith.

Hazel
Parker
Hazel L. Parker, 90, of Lincoln died at
6:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at St. Clara’s
Manor.
There will be no services or
visitation.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial
Cemetery, Detroit, Mich.
Mrs. Parker was a homemaker.
She was born Oct. 10, 1911, in
Jacksonville to George and Cora Hiller Harford. She married Harvey
M. Parker. He died in 1979.
She was also preceded in death by one
brother and three sisters.
Survivors are a nephew, Carol Auer of
Lincoln, and a niece, Eleanor Lamb of Lincoln.
